All accounts come with unrestricted bandwidth, giving you the ability to use your bandwidth however you wish, but your web site can not use more than 25% of the server's resources (CPU). Wondering how much bandwidth you need for your web site? This is hard to say, as there are a lot of ways to consume bandwidth, such as file downloads, people visiting your site, etc. We suggest starting with the bronze service plan. This feature will allow your customers to view your web site with or without the "www" portion before the domain name. This feature is very useful, as it can become a habit to only type the domain name in your browser and not the "www" portion. If you do not have this in place, you could possibly lose visitors because your web site will not pull up if someone typed in your domain name alone. At your request we can install MS Front-Page Extensions for you at no charge! This will allow you to use your MS FrontPage (98, 2000 or 2002 will work) editing tool to upload and design your web site. If you are going to use FrontPage to upload to your server, then please let us know that you want to have the extensions installed on your account when you sign up (there is a section that asks for this information).

When using Microsoft Front-Page to upload your web site, the only tool left you may use is your control panel. An FTP tool will break the extensions, and they will have to be reinstalled.



This will allow you to redirect a particular page or directory to another. For example you could have your customized 404 page redirected to your main web site. You can use this feature for services such as this and many others.

You have full access to your CGI-BIN, which allows you to delete, modify or add any scripts you would like.



Known as IP-based web hosting, each customer receives his or her own unique IP address (Example: 204.73.203.85). This allows you to access your web site via an FTP tool or any other uploading tool while your domain name is being transferred or registered. (Whichever applies to you.) You may also continue using this IP address for as long as you would like.



SSI or Server Side Includes allows the server to parse special page commands. For example if you wanted a footer on all your pages that may change from time to time, you can create a text file with the desired footer and place it on your server.
